I have discussed the vRA 8 Configuration Workflow in another blogpost, you can access it from here http://virtualization24x7.blogspot.com/2019/12/vmware-vra-8-configuration-workflow.html
In this first step is to Create Cloud Accounts.
Part -1 = http://virtualization24x7.blogspot.com/2020/02/vmware-vrealize-automation-8-cloud.html
What is Cloud Account
Cloud accounts are the configured permissions that vRealize Automation Cloud Assembly uses to collect data from the regions or data centers, and to deploy blueprints to those regions.
The collected data includes the regions that you later associate with cloud zones. As a cloud administrator, you create cloud accounts.
Credentials Required for Cloud Accounts
As it is possible to configure different types of Cloud Accounts in vRA 8. Depends on the type of Cloud Account you wants to integrate accordingly you need different types of credentials. Refer this link for details about Credentials >>>>>LINK<<<<<
