Task 1. Configure the Advanced Service Designer
You enable advanced services design for your tenant administrator and configure the Advanced
Service Designer endpoints for VMware® vCenter Server™ and Microsoft Active Directory (AD).
Login with VCAC-admin

Click the Administration tab. > From the left menu, select Groups. > Click the plus sign (+) next to the Groups title. > Click Identity Store Group and type Service Architects. > Click Service Architect@vclass.local. > Under Add Roles to this Group, select Service Architect and Tenant Administrator and click Add.
Click the Administration tab. > From the left menu, select Advanced Services> Endpoints. > Click the plus sign (+) next to the Endpoints title. > From the Plug-In drop-down menu, select vCenter Server. > Click Next. > In the Name text box, type vCVA and click Next. > In the Host text box, type vcva.vclass.local and click Next. > Type user name vs-admin@vclass.local and password as assigned > Click Add
Click the plus sign (+) next to the Endpoints title. > From the Plug-In drop-down menu, select Active Directory. > Click Next. > In the Name text box, type vClass and click Next.
2. Create and Publish a Service to Change an AD User’s Password

Click the Advanced Services tab. > From the left menu, select Service Blueprints. > Click the plus sign (+) next to the Service blueprints title. > Expand Orchestrator> Library> Microsoft> Active Directory > User. > Select Change a user password and click Next. > On the Detail tab, click Next. > Point to the User text box and click the pencil icon.> Change the name of the label to User and the type to Search. > Click Submit > Point to the Password text box and click the pencil icon. > Change the name of the label to Password and click Submit. > Point to the Confirm Password text box and click the pencil icon. > Change the name of the label to Confirm Password and click Submit. > Point to the changePassword AtNextLogon text box and click the pencil icon. > Change the name of the label to Change password at next logon and click Submit. > Click Next. > Click Add. > In the list of service blueprints, select Action > Publish from the Change a user password

drop-down menu. > From the Service drop-down menu, select User Support. > Click Update. > From the left menu, select Entitlements. > Click the plus sign (+) next to the Entitlements title. > In the Name text box, type Change password. > From the Status drop-down menu, select Active. > In the Users & Groups box, add BG-Admin, Support-user and Bg-User. > Click Next. > Click the plus sign (+) next to the Entitled Services title. > Select User Support and click OK. > Click Add. > From your student desktop system, select Start > Administrative Tools > Active Directory
Users & Computers. > Select the Users container. > Create a user password.
a. Right-click Administrator and select Copy.
b. In the First name text box, type you first name.
c. In the Last name text box, type your last name.
d. In the User logon name text box, type your first initial followed by your last name.
e. Click Next.
f. In the Password and Confirm password text boxes, type ZXCVasdf.
g. Click Next.
h. Click Finish.

Password = as assigned
Click the Catalog tab. > From the list of blueprints, select the Change a user password blueprint and select Request. > In the Descriptiontext box, type Change your_name password change request. > Click Next. > In the User text box, type and select your_name. > In the Password and Confirm password text boxes, type New password > Click Submit. > Click OK. > Click the Requests tab and monitor the status of the user password change.
You must refresh the page every 30 seconds until the status is Successful.
