Manage snapshots and virtual machine settings (vCAC) - Part 8

As a business group administrator, you manage one of your employee’s machines and create and
delete a snapshot.

1. Create and Delete Snapshots
(a) Login with Business Group Admin
https://vCACFQDN/shell-ui-app
Username = bg-admin@vclass.local
Password = as assigned

(b) Click the Items tab > On the right side of the window, select All Groups I Manage from the Owned by drop-down menu. > point to the vm down arrow under the Actions column and
select View details from the context menu. > Click the Snapshots tab > Click New Snapshot > Click OK. > After a few minutes, a “Snapshot created” message appears. > Click Close. > Point to the Snapshot name and select Delete from the context menu. > Click OK to delete the snapshot. > Click Close.





2. Modify a Virtual Machine’s Resource Settings
(a)  point to the vm down arrow under the Actions column and select View details from the context menu. > Click Edit > In the Memory text box, change the memory allocation to the maximum allowed for this virtual machine. > Click Submit and click OK
